14th – 16th September 2020 – Durham University
With a Day Conference available within the full conference on Tuesday 15th September.
This year we have a mental health focus to the conference exploring
“Psycho-spiritual Dimensions in Healthcare Chaplaincy: promoting health and well-being in our professional practice.”
It is aimed at all Healthcare Chaplains, given that all of us, regardless of our context, be that Acute, Hospice, Community or Mental Health are likely to encounter those with increasingly diverse psycho-spiritual needs. It should also give us an opportunity to consider how we attend to our own mental and spiritual health.
There will be Keynote addresses from
Professor Chris Cook, Jo Barber, and Dr Isabel Clarke, exploring the medical, psychological and lived experience of mental health and spiritual care.
There are also plans to feature a Jazz Café this year
Further details and Booking Forms to follow.
